Spelling Foundations: Small Group Tutoring

Help your child build a strong foundation in reading and spelling through engaging, multisensory lessons in a supportive small-group setting. With a maximum of four students, each child receives personalized instruction using the proven All About Spelling curriculum to develop phonics, spelling, reading fluency, and lasting confidence. Perfect for beginning spellers or students who need extra support.

History & Science

History: Journey through time from the Revolutionary War to the Cold War. Students explore the people and events that shaped our world through interactive discussions and creative living-book projects.

Science: Dive into the fascinating world of reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Through real-life observation and discovery-based lessons, students learn about animal behavior, habitats, and ecosystems.

Fall Semester Tuesdays:
Two Classes: 8:45 to 11:30
One Class: History 8:45 to 10:30 or Science 9:45 to 11:30

We warmly greet every family at arrival, creating a space where children feel welcome and eager to share their lives and jump into joyful learning.

We aim to make wholesome, hands-on enrichment accessible and uncomplicated for Northwest Arkansas homeschool families. Our partnership with the EFA program ensures that financial barriers don't stand in the way of a joyful education.

Classes can also be paid conveniently via Venmo.

Your child’s Arkansas Education Freedom Account can cover tuition costs for Mathews School classes. This removes the cost objection, allowing families to focus on wholesome, joy-filled learning. We handle the direct invoicing to make the process simple for you.
